RUCIF

Special Credential: Rutgers University Certified Industry Fellow (RUCIF)

As part of the Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, the Rutgers Post-doctoral Fellowship Program has a 40-year history of providing professional development for pharmacists and now physicians seeking to begin their careers in the pharmaceutical industry.

At our 27 biopharmaceutical company practice sites, Rutgers Post-doctoral Fellows build both depth and breadth of experience with real-world and high-visibility projects across several functional and therapeutic areas, allowing them to build subject matter expertise while understanding the larger perspective.

At Rutgers, Post-doctoral Fellows participate in complementary professional development curricula and leadership experiences including leadership roles, scholarly research, and teaching.  They also network with ~350 other Fellows as well as Preceptors, Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy Faculty, and RUCIF alumni to further enrich their experiences.

This combination of activities provides Rutgers Post-doctoral Fellows with the opportunity to build their foundations as future leaders in the biopharmaceutical industry.  Roles held by RUCIF alumni in the industry, including at C-suite levels, are an indication of the benefit of this robust, multi-dimensional professional development program.

Rutgers Post-doctoral Fellows who successfully complete the Program receive an RUCIF certificate as an endorsement of their significant achievement and a representation of the robust experience they bring to the organizations they work for.

This is what excellence looks like!
