PDD dress down day Was a huge success this year! Close to $1500 was raised for the Susan G. Komen walk and breast cancer.
Donations from fellows, staff and our presenter, (Stephen Giordano from Jeff Dorman and Associates) along with Stephen's book auctions of 2 copies of Survival of the Savvy (by Rick Brandon, Ph.D., and Marty Seldman, Ph.D.) totaled $1,135. A check was mailed to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development fund.
Fellows also participated in the run of 2009, click here to see that group.
The fellowship collected donations of school supplies, personal care items, blankets, and toys for children in South Africa and sent 5 large boxes to Dr. Imbi Ichile, the Rutgers/BMS Secure The Future HIV/AIDS Resident (09-10). She is in the photo with a staff member as they opened the boxes in Ladysmith, South Africa.
